I laughed at the very first sketch. Then... I suffered through the rest hoping there was one that was actually chuckle-worthy like the first.

There WAS the self-respect-tossing balloon. Which made me chuckle, as it seems most of the collaborators did JUST that to make this flash. Unfortunately, I don't think that's what you were going for with it.

Awesome but huge glitch

Eh, little glitchy! I went straight for the Very Hard difficulty, and once there were more than one enemy on screen, had some interesting glitches -- I'd type out the word of the closest enemy, and despite typing a word such as TALON, I'd kill an enemy with IOTAS. I played several times to make sure I wasn't just seeing things, but sure enough, I could start a word, and then basically button-mash and kill everything on screen except for my targeted foe.

The game is so great, but that glitch really killed it for me!

Cool concept, terrible music

I liked the idea of the game, and really, you did a good job of pulling it off. While you have little margin for error -- as in, the "frets" were pretty freakin' small -- it was still pretty fun.

HOWEVER, I didn't bother playing past The Bar. The songs are HORRIBLE sounding. The game itself is a lot of fun to play, but I can't stand listening to those songs. The quality of the songs are bad enough, sounding like they're MIDI synth, but on top of that, the songs are just plain bad. They donj't seem to follow any structure or melodies... just... blech.

Try again, this time with some borrowed music from the Audio Portal's top metal artists.

First off, duh, it isn't made by Tom Fulp. We know, we know, gg. I'm sure if it was his, he'd have enough sense to put it on the frontpage. If you were seriously fooled, close your internet browser now, and never run it again. You're done.

Secondly, I gotta admit, for being by KK, I'm really surprised at the detail. The huge heart background was cool, and the little "zingy" things that shoot at the end -- spot on. And while normally the shitty animation would make me angry, here it actually made me chuckle. Good job.

But you did still pretend to be NG Staff, and I'm sure it hasn't escaped their attention. Good luck with that (unless, of course, they've taken light to this and LOL'd themselves).
